Sasha Alexander will be in a new show on TNT called Rizzoli & Isles. Her new show is based on a book series by Tess Gerritsen. The series premiere is July 12, at 10. (That means it will be on Mondays, in case anyone's wondering.) Sasha plays Maura Isles, a practical Boston medical examiner. Angie Harmon portrays Maura's friend and colleague, tomboyish Boston homicide detective Jane Rizzoli, who is less practical and more tough and fearless.
