Gate doesn't sound right. It sounds like a droid in Rogue Squad.
Anyway, after watching the first season, I'm seriously considering the Gibbs/Kate pairing. I think they could've been a very interesting couple. ;D

Kibbs!!! That's what it's commonly called I think.
Yeah I agree! There are some really Kibbsish moments in the first season. Like when they are on the sub that does an emergency surface and Kate falls into him!

Yeah there was quite a bit of Kibbs in the first season but then i think they were like hey! seems like more peeps like Tate so they did that.... actually i dont know but Kibbs always seemed a bit odd to me and i dont like it much.

I think they could've been a very interesting couple. ;D Personally i think there is more going for a Kate/Gbbs relationship than there is for Kate/Tony- . . I also think that Gibbs after three divorces would know when to compromise and his personality is more similar to Kate's than Tony's is and Gibbs and Kate are more serious although they both have a softer sid. With Tony and Kate, it has never seemed serious, more like harmless flirting that isn't going anywhere, although the writers like playing with this aspect of the show.Kate and Tony just don't seem serious with each other and i have a hard time imagining them getting serious,which is absolutely necessary for one relationship . Also think that Tony and Kate's personalities would clash and I have gotten the impression that they're emotional opposites and I think because of this it would be hard for them to become serious.What drew their shippers to them,is their playful banter -THAT will change ,if they become serious. They don't did Tate in S2 because of the fact that people love their relationship better- they did it on the contrary of S1 ,which was mostly the Kibbs season,S2 was made mostly the Tate season. S1 ended with 1.23: Reveille -it was one of the best Gibbs/Kate ep. ever!  S2 ended with 2.23: Twilight-it had mostly Tate moments.  I think that Gibbs and Kate's scenes and interaction are much more subtle in comparision to Tony and Kate's scenes and interaction in S2.As far as this season has gone there hasn't been much interaction between Gibbs and Kate in comparison to Tony and Kate and so there isn't much to comment on and I'm not usually expecting there to be much interaction between Gibbs and Kate and instead for there to be more focus and emphasis on Tony and Kate. Actually there are a G/K moments in S2.The butt slap that Gibbs gave Kate in 2.6: Terminal Leave. 2.9: Forced Entry- I liked Kate as the "you-really-don't-want-to-see-this" type and then the two of them being a little awkward after Gibbs had read the e-mail.I also like his question to her in the bullpen. "Are your brothers really like that?" "Yeah, pretty much." "That explains a lot." Showed an interesting little bonding moment.Then,in An Eye for an Eye -the all conversation with the lady and Kate's reaction to that:Wow!.The all conversation about virues and the 'Play safe-go with Tony 'line in SWAK-and so on ,and so on... |
